I,Anatolia was written by Güngor Dilmen, a prominent Turkish playwright. The play pursues a historical journey through a female perspective, relating to the individual stories of fifteen female characters. These characters, all from Anatolia, have various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
The play was performed in Fazil's Time Circle Studios; an authentic building that provides rehearsal space to various dance and theater groups since 1930's. The usage of this building contributed to the essence of historical journey which the story line is based on.
